In 1944, serial inventor Earl Ernst and his two brothers set out to revolutionize the post-harvest process in what they coined The Ernst Automatic Way. Using Earl’s unique roll sizer, the brothers helped their customers “wash, grade, and sack” more tons per hour than before, providing cost and time savings. The brothers proudly changed the industry by creating new efficiencies for their clients and boasted that “all inquiries are handled promptly and courteously.”

Today, Ernst is still in the business of revolutionizing post-harvest processes to support its customers.
